Smite

Does anyone here play any MOBAs? I'm a bit light on it, being completely useless in Dota 2 (though enjoying it a lot) and recently getting into Smite. I kept hearing about it until I've seen this video that caught my attention:

As being somewhat of a history and mythology nerd I got pretty interested in how much detail they go in the character's source material (and a little disappointed that they had to change Kali). It's really cool that they included some of the more obscure gods and goddesses like the Mayan and even Chinese ones, and get a little excited whenever they introduce one I'm familiar with.

Smite is a lot more faster paced and easier to understand than a lot of MOBAs out there and I've enjoyed what I've played of it so far.

edit: whoops, I posted this in the wrong forum, any mods be nice enough to move it to the squawkbox? thanks.

I feel that this is just one more obstacle in the way of getting my Wrath of the Gods competitive street fighter style fighting game where Siddartha Gautama Buddha can elbow lock and throw Jesus Christ before executing his finishing move. But I digress.

Sadly, I have only enough headspace to keep awareness of a single MOBA at any one time and at the moment that is dedicated to DOTA 2, which I will spectate on but will likely never play.

Deities could be an awesome subject for a MOBA though.... both mythology and superheroes have a natural sort of "you already know what this peroson's deal is before you choose them" quality to it. Zeus? He's probably going to throw thunderbolts at range.
