The End of Summer Glut

Apparently, everything I am interested in playing is releasing in the next few weeks/months. Just off the top of my head:

- Tales of Xillia 2
- Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1
- Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment
- Akiba's Trip
- Hyrule Warriors
- Freedom Wars
- and probably some other stuff I've forgotten besides.

Is everyone else coming up on an "end of summer glut" of great games? What are you particularly looking forward to in the next few weeks/months?

I'm looking forward to the Infamous expansion, but my real highlight is Natural Doctrine next month!

With you on Natural Doctrine, for sure...even though I fear it'll come packaged with the swaddling cloth of unnecessarily convoluted systems. At least, that's what it sounds like.

I'm hanging out for Oddworld: New 'n Tasty on Vita, as well as Helldivers.

When is New 'n' Tasty coming to Vita? I've been holding out for that for some time now.

JAW said they're still working on it, wanting to get it just right before releasing it. And going by JAW's work on the Vita, I've great faith. They're such a class act. That Stranger's Wrath HD was a terrific port.

Definitely, I've been recently playing Stranger's Wrath recently.

Eagerly anticipating Destiny. It's been one of the few games that has captivated me since those brief details on day one. Since E3 last year I've been on a mission to avoid much of the gameplay news/trailers/videos. Might not be the best idea, but I just want to be wowed and have a fresh world to explore.

I opted out of the beta, so launch day will be my first time playing, and I'm excited. Reminds me of being a kid and flipping through magazines, being particularly clueless.

Guys, this looks shit-hot to me in a sort of XCOM-meets-Dead Space way.

I hear good things from a confraternity of indie devs on Le Twit, the sort who are making things like Steam Marines, Deep Space Settlement etc.

Also, Beige, you'd be keen on Inner City Kids, right? (PC, Vita)
